  • 'Mouth-guard' like device

  • No hose, no air, no mask

  • Preferred over CPAP by patients and their bed partners*

Are You A Candidate?

Each of our devices is custom-crafted by dental sleep medicine specialists to perfectly fit the contours of your unique mouth. Just a few quick questions stand between you and discovering if a SomnoMed oral device is your key to a night of peaceful sleep.

Smaller, lighter quieter

alternative to CPAP.

SomnoMed has developed a solution for mild to moderate OSA sufferers called an Oral Device. Yes, it looks like a simple mouthguard. You pop it in your mouth at bed time and go to sleep.

No pump noise, no face mask, no hoses and no forced air.

How does an oral device treat sleep apnea?

As you can see in the animation below, the device fits comfortably in your mouth while you sleep. It repositions the lower jaw and tongue forward. This stops the airway at the back of your throat from collapsing, reducing sleep apnea and the number of times you wake up each night.

Less sleep interruptions means a better night's sleep and a more energised day.

3 Reasons why SomnoMed oral devices are unique

1. Each device is custom made.
A dental sleep specialist will professionally scan your teeth and gums. A more accurate scan means a better fitting device. The better the device fits, the better the results for you. "Boil and Bite" devices that you heat in water and mold to your teeth will never get close to the comfort of a SomnoMed oral device.

2. Our device combines two materials; a harder structural material and a softer inner lining. Having dual materials maximises durability and comfort.

3. We mill the device robotically from the scan, creating a perfect fit every time. This precision fit means better results.
